We are the leaders of the new school.

I see a lot of kids saying that homework is stupid, that you’re cool if you buy this pair of jeans or that shirt.

I’m sick of the generation I was influenced by. It took me this long to figure out that I am who I want to be.

We are the leaders of the new school. You, me, everyone reading this. You dictate what happens to our next generation of kids. Our next generation of people.

I want kids to be able to rock whatever kind of clothes and not get put into a low class group in school just because they can’t afford the clothes that the cool kids have.

As I’m growing up I find my education much more valuable and harder to maintain. I want this next generation of kids to be able to fly through school. I want them to be ready for what I wasn’t ready for.

I want smart looking cool. I want dudes to not have the pressure of sagging their jeans to be cool.

I want girls to know they’re beautiful and not have to wear the tightest pants to get noticed.

I know you tumblr heads out there can at least see what I’m talking about if not believe. I know you do because you’re unique as fuck and I am honored to be put in a category with you, but this isn’t about who has the most likes and reblogs.

It’s about who can influence people that look up to you in a positive direction.

I don’t know much and I still got a lot to learn, but I want to impact this world with much more then material things to chase after. I want people to have a dream and be able to chase it instead of sit here talking about it.

I know a lot of arguments and beef been stirred up by me. A lot of people saying that i’m not who they thought I was. I’m not who they want me to be.

I apologize for the people that aren’t happy with what I’m about. That point out whats wrong with me but when I do something great they sit there quiet while others give me props.

For the people that were wearing Old Navy clothing when they were young and now trying to get the freshest kicks now a days. Know you don’t have to. Know that your clothes won’t fit you 10 years from now, but your words will forever be implanted in our ears.

We gotta stop looking at what’s different with us and look at our little brothers and sisters and let them know that life ain’t perfect, but shit you can achieve what you want if you work hard.

This. Snaps to you.
